Ungh!!! Had a blast playing Hella Proper’s “Free Beats for Beat Freaks” party at Motif in San Jose last week. Shared the stage with my good buddy FACEMELTER as well as new buddies DVS, TKO and AV!, among others. A SUPER BIG thanks to the Hella Proper crew for making me feel so welcome! Definitely looking forward to doing that again!!

This week, I’m focusing on entering a straight up producer battle. The Red Bull Big Tune contest tours through 10 cities (including San Francisco) before ultimately holding the contest finals in Chicago later this year. I’m submitting three tracks (Illectronic Phonics, Hella Sick, and ???)to be considered for entry.

Really hoping I can sneak into this contest. If I make it, it’ll give me a bigger reason to hurry up and make some new, ridiculously HORRRRD beats. If nothing else, it’d be a big foot in the door on a pretty big stage. Wish me luck!!
